NEW ORLEANS RESIDENCE #3

After the fire in February 2015,  the clients contracted Koch & Wilson to restore the house to its original configuration.  The house was taken down to the studs with all the old wiring and plumbing removed and replaced.  The dining room, which was downsized in the mid-fifties, was returned to its original footprint and separated from the double parlor by a large, single sliding pocket door.

All of the original ceiling medallions and the parlor arch were recast in plaster and reinstalled.  Across the back of the house, a guest room, pantry and small kitchen have been replaced by a full size, modern kitchen and den.
